Lahore: The funeral prayers of Tariq Aziz, the host of the popular Pakistan Television (PTV) show ‘Neelam Ghar‘ were telecasted by Baaghi TV in its broadcasts.
According to reports, Pakistan’s well-known TV host, actor and politician Tariq Aziz passed away yesterday. Tariq Aziz’s funeral prayers were offered in Garden Town and he was buried in the local cemetery.
His popular game show Neelam Ghar started in 1974 and ran for four decades. It was later renamed the Tariq Aziz Show.
Funeral prayers were offered by Qari Sadaqat, a prominent religious figure of the country.

Expressing their grief, the artists participating in the prayer said that today Pakistan has lost a great personality. He is irreplaceable and no one can ever fill the space that has been created by the demise of this legend.
Political and social personalities including Sohail Ahmed, Qawi Khan, Noor-ul-Hassan attended the funeral prayers of Tariq Aziz.
