Islamabad, 24th July 2020: The Senate has passed a resolution condemning the transfer of Syeda Asiya Andrabi, head of Dukhtaran-e-Millat in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, to Tihar Jail’s sentence ward as violations of basic human rights. On Friday, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed moved a resolution, which was passed jointly by the House. The resolution was tabled on the recommendation of Kashmir Youth Alliance. In the resolution, the senators paid tributes to Asiya Andrabi for her role in the Kashmir independence movement.
