12,218 suspected cases of coronavirus across Pakistan: Dr. Zafar Mirza

Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza, has said that there are 12,218 suspected cases across Pakistan.

So far, a total of 1415 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan. Around 173 patients have been increased in the last 24 hours, while 25 people have recovered and 12 have passed away.

According to statistics, the total number of coronavirus infected people globally has exceeded 600,000 while the total death toll is almost 28,000. More than 133,000 people have recovered across the world, he said at the press conference.

There are 12,218 suspected cases and the government is making arrangements for their tests soon.

Punjab reports another death, nationwide toll increases to 11

Punjab has reported 497 confirmed patients of the disease which is the highest in the country. Sindh cases stand at 457, Balochistan has 133, KPK 180, Gilgit-Baltistan 107, Islamabad 39 and two cases reported in Azad Kashmir.
