12,400 SOPs violations reported in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: A meeting chaired by Federal Minister Asad Omar was informed that 12,400 violations of SOPs were reported across the country in 24 hours. On which 1,512 markets and shops were sealed, and 14 industrial units were fined.

According to details, a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar. Provincial Chief Secretaries including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan participated in the video link.

At the meeting, the provinces briefed the NCOC on the violations of Corona SOPs. Smart Lockdown continues in specific areas across the country. 12,400 violations of SOPs were reported in 24 hours across the country. 1,512 markets and shops, including 14 industrial units were fined and sealed while 1,466 transporters across the country were fined.

CM Punjab gives orders concerning violation of SOPs

It was informed in the briefing that 364 violations of SOPs were reported in Islamabad in 24 hours, as a result of which 154 shops were sealed and 147 vehicles were fined.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 5336 violations of SOPs were reported in KP and 257 markets, shops were sealed while 104 transporters were fined. In Balochistan, 1075 violations of SOPs were reported and 104 violations of SOPs were reported. Markets and shops were sealed.

In the last 24 hours, 3682 violations of SOPs were reported in Punjab. As a result, 655 markets, shops and industrial units were sealed across Punjab and 801 vehicles were fined for violating SOPs. In 24 hours, 860 violations of SOPs took place in Sindh. On which 41 markets, shops were sealed and 7 vehicles were fined.

It was stated in the meeting that in the last 24 hours, 153 markets, shops and 321 vehicles were fined for 865 violations of SOPs in Azad Kashmir. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 48 market stalls were closed and 53 transporters were fined for 218 violations of SOPs.
