Governor of Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has resigned from his post.
According to sources, the Governor of Balochistan has sent his resignation to the President. The President has accepted the resignation of Governor Balochistan Amanullah Yasinzai. Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to appoint Syed Zahoor Agha as the Governor of Balochistan.
It may be recalled that on October 3, 2018, the federal government nominated former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Amanullah Yasinzai for the post of Governor of Balochistan.
Moreover, His nomination was announced following the resignation of former Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, who resigned after the formation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
