Oct 21, 2021: Two Federal Corps (FC) officers and two police constables were killed Wednesday night in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack that took place late Wednesday night.

Two Federal Corps personnel and two police constables were martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Bajaur on Wednesday night.

The ISPR confirmed that the blast took place during a siege and search operation last night, adding that the martyred FC personnel were identified as 28-year-old Lance Naik Mudassar a resident of Kohat and 28-year-old soldier Jamshed, a resident of Karachi.

The police constables killed in the IED attack are Cop Abdul Samad and Cop Noor Rehman.

“Area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found,” added the ISPR.
