Riyadh, 20th May: Outbreak of the coronavirus appears to be exacerbated in Saudi Arabia, with 2,509 new patients reported in 24 hours.

Baaghi TV reports that the spread of the coronavirus continues in Saudi Arabia, with 9 more deaths in Saudi Arabia in the last 24 hours.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Saudi Arabia has risen to 329. In the last 24 hours, 2,509 corona cases have been reported in Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of patients to 59,854.

Of the total patients in Saudi Arabia, 35% are Saudis and 65% are foreigners. The condition of 251 patients is critical. The number of newly recovered patients in 24 hours is 2,886 while the total number is 31,634.

Saudi Arabia’s Umm al-Qura University is working on a project to diagnose coronavirus through a cough. The Syad, an artificial intelligence center under the university, began experimenting on a large scale.

According to Newspaper 24, the University of Makkah’s Syad Center has announced that its scholars are working on a project to detect coronavirus infection by analyzing cough sounds with the help of artificial intelligence.
