3 more youth martyred in IIOJK, toll swelled to 10

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youth in an overnight operation in Srinagar, raising the number of the slain youth in the territory to 10 over the past three days.

Three youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Panthachowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar city.

Earlier, an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Special Operation Group of Indian police was also killed in an attack in the same area.

Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbagh Singh talking to reporters in Srinagar today, said that police had lost encounter specialist in Panthachowk gunfight who had played key role in numerous operations against mujahideen in the Valley. On the sidelines of wreath laying ceremony of slain ASI of Special Operation Group of Indian Police, Babu Ram, the DGP said the Ram “was well trained and had taken part in much anti-militancy operation in Valley.”

On Saturday, the troops martyred three youth during a cordon and search operation at Zadoora in Pulwama, while four youth were martyred during a similar operation in Kiloora area of Shopian district on Friday.

The number of youth killed by the troops during cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian rose to 10 since Friday.
