HARIPUR, August 19 (Online Int’l): 6 persons including 5 real brothers have died and 7 have been injured in an armed clash between two Afghan groups on a dispute over electricity bills.
Police have arrested 3 persons along with weapons from the suspects while the others managed to escape.
Following the incident, the District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ashfaq Anwar himself along with a heavy contingent of police arrived at the spot and began searching for suspects in the area. The Rescue 1122 shifted the injured and the bodies to the hospital. The Police filed the case and handed over the bodies to their families for burial.
The sources informed that the incident took place in the morning at 11:00 am at the area of Khalla Butt Town Chandni Chowk. Those murdered have been identified as Hakim Khan, Abid Faqeer, Gul Haibat, Shah Habib, Anwar and Gulab Khan.
