A tragic incident unfolded in the Kandhkot area of District Kashmore, resulting in the loss of at least nine lives, including five children. The cause of this devastating event was a rocket explosion that occurred inside a residential property. District Kashmore’s Senior Superintendent of Police, Rohail Khoso, has confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is currently underway. Additionally, one person sustained injuries in the blast.
The authorities swiftly responded to the situation by sealing off the area within the jurisdiction of the Goghat police station in Kandhkot. Simultaneously, an emergency was declared at the district hospital to manage the crisis effectively.
According to reports from the district administration, the explosion took place at approximately 9:00 am in the village of Badal Sabzoi, within Union Council Malheer, taluka Kandhkot. Responding promptly, the district health officials dispatched a Rapid Response team to the scene, who subsequently transported the victims to the local taluka hospital.
