Baku, 4th October 2020: Azerbaijan’s President has announced control of the disputed region of Gabriel during clashes with Armenia.

According to details, the Central Asian countries Azerbaijan and Armenia have been engaged in bloody clashes for the past few days over the Nagorno-Karabakh region dispute, with both countries shelling heavily to seize the disputed territory.

Azerbaijani forces had claimed control of seven more areas in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, but now the Azerbaijani president has announced that he will regain control of the regular city of Gabriel.

Announcing that the Azerbaijani forces have taken full control of the city of Gabriel, the President of Azerbaijan congratulated the military commander after occupying more territory. So far 230 people have been killed in the clashes.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, the parties in the Karabakh region have claimed heavy damage to each other.
