Lahore, 9th October: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has issued new guidelines for marriage halls in Pakistan.
Baaghi TV: The National Command and Operations Center has issued new guidelines for marriage halls to further reduce the spread of coronavirus.
According to the NCOC, the duration of celebrations at wedding halls will be only for 2 hours and the halls will remain open till 10 pm.
No more than 300 people will be allowed for indoor celebrations. Outdoor events will be attended by up to 500 people. Violations of SOPs will result in fines.
The National Command and Operations Center says large public gatherings are banned around the world because of the coronavirus. Large public gatherings cause the spread of the virus.
Consultations on holding public gatherings are underway. Decisions on public gatherings will also be made after consultation.
It is to be noted that at present the number of patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus in Pakistan has come down to 8,335 and 302,708 have been cured. ۔
The health ministry says the pace of cases has slowed, but caution is still needed.
