ISLAMABAD, October 14 (Online): Judge Azam Khan of Accountability Court (AC) Room No 2 has reserved judgment on acquittal plea of Syed Hassan Sheikhoo co-accused in reference of illegal contracts of advertisements against former Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani and others.
The reserved judgment will be announced on October 21.
Judge Muhammad Azam Khan of AC Room No 2 took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
NAB prosecutor Usman Mirza requested the court to reject acquittal plea. He told the court former PM Yousuf Raza Gillani and other co-accused were involved in corrupt practice. Supreme Court was also misguided with reference to publicity campaign of Universal Services Fund.
The court while reserving the judgment on acquittal plea adjourned the hearing of the case till October 21.
