PDM: Two leaders reach the Quetta venue
Quetta, 25th October: JUI-F Leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz have reached the venue.
Baaghi TV: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) meeting is being held in Quetta today. PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz have reached the venue.
Convoys are continuing to arrive at the PDM’s Quetta rally while central leaders are also arriving on the stage. More than 4,000 personnel, including police and FC, have been deployed for the security of the rally.
Flags and banners of various political parties have been hoisted across Quetta while PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Maryam Nawaz, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Abdul Malik Baloch and Sardar Akhtar Mengal have reached Quetta.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz arrived in Quetta with her 10-member delegation yesterday. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive in Quetta today on a special flight from Gilgit and if he does not reach Quetta, he will address the gathering via video link.
Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif will address the gathering via video link from London.
The government administration has banned double riding of motorcycles in Quetta while mobile phone service has also been suspended. Chief Secretary Balochistan has said that political parties should take the terror alert seriously.
