France: 2 killed and several injured in a church attack

Paris, 29th October: Two people were killed and several others were injured in a knife attack in a French church.

Baaghi TV: The incident happened near a church in the southern French city of Nice on Friday, French media reported on Thursday.

A video posted on Twitter shows people fleeing the scene when the attack took place.

French Interior Minister Gerald Dramenin said a police operation was underway in the city, while Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said the suspect behind the attack, whom Estrosi had described as “a terrorist incident”.
