Karachi (26th Aug, 2019): Former Captain of the Pakistan Cricket team, Javed Miandad, announces visit to Line of Control (LoC) to express his solidarity with Kashmir and its people.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Miandad has stated that no one can separate Kashmir from Pakistan, elaborating that the people of Kashmir should be given their rights. Miandad continued to state that he aims to stage protests and highlight the plight of the Kashmiri people in the light of Indian atrocities in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Moreover, Shahid Afridi had earlier stated that injustice and oppression should not be tolerated and expressed hopes for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. Afridi reportedly appreciated the efforts of PM Imran Khan for his untiring efforts for peace in Kashmir. The former cricketer even tweeted:

He continued to tweet, that the Kashmiri people must be given their due rights as per UN resolution. Afridi further added that, “the unprovoked aggression & crimes being committed in Kashmir against #Humanity must be noted”.
