COVID-19; Most ventilators occupied in Islamabad as cases rise across Pakistan

During the last 24 hours most death occurred in Punjab followed by Sindh.

According to statistics released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC), out of 52 deaths during last 24-hours 24 died on ventilators. 2,118 people tested COVID-19 positive on 5 January. 45 died in hospital and 7 died out of hospital on 5 January.

Sindh: 12,457
Punjab: 15,997
KP: 4,521

Balochistan: 466
GB: 357
AJK: 249

448,393 People recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. There is no patient on vent in AJK, GB & Balochistan while, 313 vents occupied across Pakistan. A total of 492,594 cases detected so far with AJK at 8,396, Balochistan at 18,280, GB at 4,873, ICT at 38,531, KP at 59,955, Punjab at 142,058 and Sindh at 220,501.
