February 11, 2021: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has made a statement on the purpose of PDM in the Governor House.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the mission of PDM is to bring accountability and development in the country to a halt. If accountability ceases, the marches and protests of the opposition will also cease. Imran Khan will not back down even an inch from the issue of transparent accountability.
For the first time, all institutions, including the NAB, are operating with complete independence. Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to end tax evasion at every level and to end corruption but the opposition doesn’t want that. The opposition should support open voting in the Senate.
Whatever happens in the Senate election, the government and the coalition will have a surprise in store in store for the opposition. Opposition will never like transparency and merit in any case.
After failure on so many fronts, the PDM itself does not understand their next course of action. Inshallah, the next chairman of the senate will also be one of justice and allies. All alliance partners, including the PML-Q, stand united with the government.
Anti-national elements are conspiring to destabilize Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan is doing principled and ideological politics. The government still stands by the principle of transparent accountability.
