ISLAMABAD March 5,2021: Leading political figure Munir Ahmad Khan announced his joining PTI during a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Prime Minister appreciated the decision of Munir Ahmed Khan. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry were also present in the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House.
In the meeting, Munir Ahmad Khan expressed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that Pakistan’s destiny and future is safe and bright from being in the hands of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visionary leadership. Meanwhile, the country is witnessing a big and positive change.
Munir Ahmad Khan said that every Pakistani and especially the young generation is proud of the fact that the reins of the country have been taken over by a leader whose footsteps are clean and free from corruption. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been fighting corruption, looting and mafia for more than two decades. He said that inspired by the bold leadership and selfless struggle of the Prime Minister, he has decided to join the PTI so that he can be a part of the mission for which Imran Khan is striving.
Welcoming Munir Ahmad Khan to the party, the Prime Minister said that all the problems in the country, including inflation, unemployment and inflation, were due to looting and corruption by previous governments and that his mission is to eradicate all forms of corruption and no compromise will be made. It may be recalled that before joining the PTI, Munir Ahmad Khan had been the Central Secretary Information for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) and had held advisory and other central positions in various governments.
