Lahore, 10th March: Chairman Senate is in consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the position of Deputy Chairman Senate.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, PTI’s newly appointed Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the options of the candidate for the post of deputy chairman senate.
During the meeting, the strategy for the election of Chairman Senate was discussed, where Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his confidence in Sadiq Sanjrani.
PM Imran Khan assured that all the allies and the government are with Sanjrani and the name of the deputy chairman will also be finalized through consultation.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that the Prime Minister has announced the re-election of Sadiq Sanjrani as Chairman Senate.
It was announced that Yousuf Raza Gillani will be the candidate for the chairmanship of the Senate from PDM.
As per reports, newly elected members of the Senate will be sworn in on March 12.
