Lahore, 10th March: Senior citizens in the federal capital have registered complaints of difficulties in getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, the ministry of national health confirmed on Wednesday that the COVID vaccination drive has begun in Islamabad where people above 60 years of age shall be vaccinated free of cost in the 15 vaccination centres put up across the city.
As per reports, some 500 senior citizens were scheduled to get their Sinopharm jabs today in the federal capital.
However, as per sources, so far only 188 could receive their shots. According to reports, some elderly people also complained about the difficulties they faced while getting the COVID jab.
Meanwhile, the health ministry explained that the difficulties arose after people did not follow the time assigned for their jabs.
The authorities pointed out that if people follow the time sent to them by NADRA via messages to all the registered people, then the elderly can conveniently receive their vaccinations.
