Dr. Seemi Jamali, Director, Jinnah Hospital, has been declared a “Global Hero” for performing her duties in the best possible manner during the pandemic. The American online magazine NPR has released a list on the anniversary of the global pandemic, which includes a total of nine individuals.
The health workers included in the magazine’s list were from Pakistan, Mexico, Srinagar, South Africa and other countries. The magazine praised the services of Dr. Seemi Jamali globally and wrote that despite suffering from a terminal illness, Dr. Seemi Jamali continued to perform her duties during her tenure.
The American magazine wrote that Pakistani doctors bravely fought terrorism, which is a work of great courage. The NPR wrote that there was a time when Seemi Jamali and her husband, who is also an orthopedic surgeon, fell victim to an epidemic that left them in isolation, but since defeating the global epidemic. Dr. Seemi Jamali is performing her duties even though she herself is suffering from bowel cancer. The list was published by the American online medical journal NPR, which was formerly National Public Radio and is now a private one. And it has become a public-funded non-profit organization.
