
Lahore March 18, 2021: Eight years have passed since the death of MM Alam, the hero of the 1965 war.
Memories are still fresh in national conscience, but according to reports, in the 1965 war, Air Commodore MM Alam competed thousands of feet with the Indian Air Force. It happened at an altitude and this air battle became an example of combat aviation we have no other example of.
In less than a minute, MM Alam shot down five Indian fighter jets in a row. This feat of MM Alam’s combat aviation still amazes the listeners even today while MM Alam in these aerial battles. The scholar also inflicted irreparable damage on the enemy.
Surprisingly, the five Indian fighter jets shot down by MM Alam had many times more combat capabilities than MM Alam’s Saber 86. In addition, MM Alam had dusted off a total of 11 Indian aircraft on various fronts in the 1965 war, of which 9 were completely destroyed and 2 were partially damaged. National hero MM Alam passed away on March 18, 2013 after a long illness. He was buried in PAF Masroor Martyrs Cemetery at Maripur.
