Lahore, 18th May: Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry disclosed what Pakistan is going to do next for the Palestinian brothers.
While addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry briefed the media on today’s cabinet meeting regarding the Palestine issue.
Palestine Issue
Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan will send medical emergency aid to Palestine in order to tackle the coronavirus situation in the country.
He disclosed that Palestine is facing a medical emergency situation and Pakistan will send medical aid as soon as possible.
Chaudhry informed that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will go to New York from Turkey.
He further told that Foreign Ministers of 5 Muslim countries including Turkey and Sudan will also go to New York, United States of America to address the Palestine crisis.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the Palestinian leadership has also thanked Pakistan for its position.
Chaudhry reiterated that Pakistan is the first Islamic country that has adopted a clear and strong stance on the Palestine issue.
Ring Road Project
Addressing the media briefing, Fawad Chaudhry said that the Prime Minister has received reports of change in the alignment of the Ring Road project.
He said that Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari were not mentioned in the report. Zulfi Bukhari had nothing to do with the matter and has resigned from the post till the completion of the investigation.
Electronic Voting
He also said that an electronic voting machine is essential for transparent elections. PML-N and PPP are not making their position clear on giving voting rights to overseas Pakistanis. Whereas, PTI is committed to giving voting rights to overseas Pakistanis.
