Lahore, 25th May: Flights have been suspended at Lahore’s Walton Airport.

According to reports, training flights at Lahore’s old airport were suspended on Tuesday.

According to the latest notification issued by the authorities, no aircraft of any type is allowed to fly at present.

A notification issued by the Pakistan Civil Aviation states, ‘in the light of the decision taken last month, it has been directed that no one can fly a plane at the Walton Airport.’

It may be recalled that last month Prime Minister Imran Khan issued orders to use the old airport of Lahore called Walton Airport for commercial purposes. The premier also announced building the world’s largest trade center in Lahore.
