Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa Telephones Bill Gates

RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Co-Chairman Bill Gates had a telephone conversation in which important issues including corona virus and polio eradication campaign were discussed.

Talking to Bill Gates, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the credit for the successful campaign against polio goes to health workers, mobile teams and law enforcement agencies, according to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department.

The Army Chief also assured the continued support of the Pakistan Army in the campaign. Bill Gates appreciated the support of Pakistan Army in the campaign against polio.
