June 24, 2021: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the leadership of Occupied Kashmir today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss the situation in Occupied Kashmir with like-minded people.
BaaghiTV: According to details, an all-party conference on occupied Kashmir will be held today under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Modi government has invited the leadership of major Kashmiri political parties to an all-party conference in Delhi.
According to sources, Modi government has started trying new tack in occupied Kashmir. According to official sources, for a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the Federal Home Secretary has invited 14 political leaders from Kashmir and Hindu-majority region of Jammu for a meeting. They must submit a negative report of the Corona test before attending the meeting.
Political leaders invited to the meeting include Dr. Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah from the National Conference, Mehbooba Mufti from the PDP, Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Congress, Tara Chand and Ghulam Ahmad Mir from the People’s Conference. Sajjad Ghani Lone and Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Altaf Bukhari from his party, Ravinder Reena from BJP, Nirmal Singh and Quinder Gupta, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami from CPI (M) and Prof. Bhim Singh from National Panthers Party.
In Occupied Kashmir, internet services have been abruptly suspended for 48 hours. According to the report of Independent Urdu, Farooq Abdullah said: “The Prime Minister has scheduled a meeting in New Delhi on June 24 at 3 pm in which we have been invited to attend. We have decided to attend this meeting. Our position is not hidden from anyone. We will put our position before the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Farooq Abdullah said: “There is no agenda fixed by him. We can talk about anything there.”
On the occasion, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said: “Whatever their agenda is, we will put our agenda before them. We will demand the release of political and other prisoners lodged in various jails in Kashmir and India and the transfer of those whose release is not possible to Kashmir.
Former Chief Minister of Occupied Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti has said that she will tell Modi in the meeting that the August 5 move is illegal and unconstitutional. Peace in Occupied Kashmir will be restored only when the unilateral decision is withdrawn. Without restoration, it is impossible to restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the entire region.
“We are not going to sign the Indian government’s agenda,” said Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and spokesman for the PAGD. If their proposal is in our favor, we will support it and if it is not in our favor, we will openly oppose it.
“Whether the Indian government has set an agenda for the meeting or not, we have no information,” Tarigami said. We will reiterate our position in the meeting. We want to assure you that we will not ask for the stars of heaven, but we will ask for what was ours. We have to take the power of attorney of our people there.
