Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed concern over the federal government’s decision to cut off Sui gas supply to Karachi industries.

According to the details, PPP chairman raised his voice on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government decision to cut off gas supplies.

“By stopping the supply of Sui gas to Karachi industries, Imran Khan has dealt another blow to the national economy. Surprisingly, gas supply is being cut off only for Karachi industrialists across the country,” said Bilawal Zardari.

Furthermore, the PPP chairman said that “Gas supply to Karachi industries cut off after alleged claims to start rehabilitation work in all 14 gas fields of Sindh simultaneously”

Strongly criticizing the PTI government and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he said that Imran Khan cut off gas supply to Karachi’s industries, putting not only domestic exports but also the reputation of industrialists at stake.

“Constitutionally, Sui gas producing provinces like Balochistan and Sindh have the first right to be supplied there first,” Bilawal added.

While talking to media, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that on one hand, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) stopped the supply of gas to the industries of Karachi on the instructions of Imran Khan, however, on the other hand, the employees are being fired from the company without any reason and notice.

He concluded: “Imran Khan is systematically pursuing a plan to destroy the Pakistani economy and state institutions.”
