Lahore, 28th June: The Sindh High Court ordered to shut down the famous video-sharing App Tik Tok.

According to reports, Sindh High Court, on Monday heard the petition against the closure of Tik Tok and ordered to put a ban on it across the country.

The Sindh High Court bench called for the ban to be imposed from today. The bench has directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to immediately block the TikTok application in the country.

Sindh High Court (SHC) issued notices to the Attorney General, PTA to seek reply replies from authorities on a petition against immoral content on TikTok within 10 days.

It is to be noted that a petition was filed in the court for a ban on Tik Tok. The court has accepted the request.

On March 12, Peshawar High Court had ordered a ban on Tik Tok which is a short video-sharing entertainment app.
