Lahore, 1st July: Ambassador Munir Akram calls on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) today.
Ambassador Munir Akram, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, New York met with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at GHQ on Thursday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interests, overall regional security situation including the Afghanistan reconciliation process and Kashmir dispute were discussed.
COAS appreciated the mission’s role and efforts in the service of Pakistan.
