Lahore, 11th July: Amazon will start its operation from Multan, Pakistan.

According to details, Pakistan Post is reportedly set to inaugurate the country’s first Amazon Fulfillment and Facilitation Center (AFFC) in Multan after Eid.

Postmaster-General Zulfiqar Hasnain said on Sunday that the government has worked tirelessly to get Pakistani products access to Amazon, and Pakistan Post is working hard to achieve that goal.

According to the Postmaster-General, Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has taken these special steps under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said that the Prime Minister had ordered that Pakistani products should have access to the international market in one way or another.

He further said that most of the work of the Amazon Fulfillment and Facilitation Center at the General Post Office has been completed and will be inaugurated after Eid-ul-Adha. Hence, Amazon warehouse will also be set up at GPO Multan.

Zulfiqar Hasnain said that apart from this, work is also underway to set up Amazon centers with warehouses in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Sahiwal and other districts of South Punjab.

It is pertinent to mention here that this facility will help local handicrafts and cultural products to reach the international market.
