July 21, 2021: Muslims across Pakistan are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha today with religious devotion and respect.
BaaghiTV: Eid prayers were held in mosques, Eidgahs and open fields in all small and big cities of the country including Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta. Special prayers were offered for In view of government directives, Eid-ul-Adha prayers were offered keeping in view the social distances while the worshipers also arranged to wear face masks. After which animals are being sacrificed following the Sunnah of Abraham. Citizens across the country are also going to the graves of their deceased after Eid prayers to offer Fateha.
The government has also instructed the public to take strict precautionary measures to avoid socializing and try to share each other’s happiness through video links instead of visiting each other’s homes. Sick people, children and senior citizens should not be allowed to participate in Eid gatherings, face masks should be used, handshakes and hugs should also be avoided.
According to media reports, there has been an increase in the number of collective sacrifices due to the corona virus this year as compared to previous years.
