ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Lt. Gen. Fayyad Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, the Saudi Chief of General Staff, opened the new headquarters of the Saudi Military Attaché in Islamabad on Monday.
The opening of the military attaché in its new building, according to Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili, symbolizes the leadership’s commitment to enhancing mutual interests and collaboration between the two countries in all domains.
Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili stated, “The defence and military cooperation area is a bridge of communication and beneficial cooperation between the Saudi armed forces and the Pakistani armed forces.”
Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili and his delegation were met by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier.
The greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman were conveyed by Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili.
They discussed the two countries’ familial and historical ties, bilateral relations, regional and international trends, and matters of mutual interest during the meeting.
