Motorola has introduced a new flagship smartphone, named Motorola Edge (2021). The phone will be available to purchase starting this month.

According to reports, the Motorola Edge (2021) will be available to consumers from August 23 and will first be launched in the United States.

In terms of design, this phone is similar to the recently introduced Edge 20, but the bezel at the bottom of this new phone is more prominent.

The Motorola Edge has a 6.8-inch Full HD Plus display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, with the 32-megapixel selfie camera hidden in a punch-hole design.

The phone comes with 6 to 8 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage options which can be further expanded with an SD card.

The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor and the Motorola Ready software platform for computer interaction along with the Android 11 operating system.

The battery of the phone is 5000 mAh with 30-watt fast charging support.

It has a set of 3 cameras at the back, a 108-megapixel main camera with an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera. The cost will be $700 USD which is about Rs. 115,000 (PKR).

The phone is an upgrade from last year’s Edge 20 model which had a Snapdragon 765 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage.

Similarly, there were 4 cameras on its the back but the main camera was 64 megapixels with an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a time of flight sensor.
