Sept 1, 2021: According to a report by Baaghi TV, in the case related to the harassment of Ayesha Akram in Minar Pakistan incident, the family members of the jail have protested outside the jail when Ayesha Akram went there to identify the accused in the today.
A large contingent of police is present outside the jail on this occasion. The families of the accused named and arrested in the case also reached outside the jail and protested on Ferozepur Road. On the occasion, the protesters and the police clashed outside the jail, after which the police arrested several protesters, protesters say that unbelievable people were arrested in case.
Tick Tocker Ayesha Akram and her partner Rambo have also reached the jail for the identification parade. The identification parade of more than 160 accused will be completed in the presence of Civil Judge Kamran Zafar.
On the other hand, the case related to the Minar Pakistan incident was heard in the Lahore High Court. The court reserved its decision on the admissibility of the petition. It is the duty of the Sessions Court to decide whether or not to do so. The petition asked the court to take criminal action against the woman for inciting the mob.
For the identification parade, strict security arrangements have been made outside the jail, a heavy contingent of police has been deployed, there is a severe traffic jam on Ferozepur Road on this occasion.
It is to be noted that in addition to the incident in Minar e Pakistan, in general incidents of assault on women are on the rise in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab. After the Minar Pakistan incident, a video of assault on a woman riding a rickshaw also came to light.
