KABUL: A message to the Afghan Taliban; “I will sacrifice my life but I will not leave my people at your mercy”, says Ahmad Masood, the head of the anti-Taliban force in Afghanistan’s Panjshir province.

Ahmad Massoud says that he is ready to lay down his life for the sake of the Afghans, but he cannot leave them at the mercy of the Afghan Taliban.

The Taliban have taken over 33 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces. Despite having several rounds of talks failed in the Panjshir Valley, within two days, the clashes remain.

Since, the Taliban’s complete claim of the Panjshir Valley, a spokesman for the Resistance Force came out stating: “Our fighters were ahead of the Taliban.”

Now Ahmad Massoud, head of the resistance force, and his son have taken it to social media. The duo claims that the people will not stop resisting and fighting for their rights.

This resistance is not limited to the Panjshir Valley, but it also includes Afghan women fighting for their rights.
The head of the resistance force says that the Afghan people are fighting for freedom and justice, the resistance will continue, the resistance in Panjshir is still strong.
