Sohaib Maqsood ruled out from T20 World Cup 2021 due to injury

Pakistan’s middle-order batter Sohaib Maqsood has been ruled out from ICC T20 World Cup 2021 after suffering from back pain. Pakistan Cricket Board announced in a media release.
As per the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), their chief medical officer Dr. Najib Soomro and national team’s physio Cliffe Deacon observed Sohaib Maqsood’s back injury on early Saturday.
After examining, Dr. Najib advised him to rest, that leads to Sohaib Maqsood’s ruled out verdict from the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Pakistan Cricket Board will soon announce Sohaib’s replacement. In media, there are rumors around that an experienced cricketer Shoaib Malik’s inclusion is expected in T20 World Cup squad following his performance in National T20 Cup 2021.
