Oct 28, 2021: The Charter of Security should be discussed along with the Charter of Economy, according to Dr. Moeed Yousaf.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Dr. Moeed Yousuf has said that Western countries have been considering Pakistan as an issue in Afghanistan for 20 years.
Dr. Moeed Yousuf said that those who come to Washington from the United States change as soon as they return. Pakistan is a responsible country and is aware of its duties. The problem of fake news is not Pakistan but all over the world. Enemies of the state are trying to defame us, we are trying to make a truthful statement, different statements together tell what kind of country Pakistan is, Pakistan believes in a factual national statement, India’s fake news against Pakistan.
The false narrative has been revealed, and Pakistan to keep up with the innovations of the media to put the real national narrative before the world.
Dr. Moeed Yousuf further said that we are lagging behind other countries in strategic communication, the same statement cannot be understood in the same way everywhere, Pakistan stands with peace and will continue to need those who are behind Pakistan.
“I know from the inside that the Charter of Economy should be discussed along with the Charter of Economy. In the past, Pakistan’s statement has been presented in a negative light. We have to coordinate with various relevant institutions to formulate an effective national statement.”
He said that Pakistan’s expectations from the new Afghan government are the same as those of the West.
“We have repeatedly called for a government that protects the rights of all Afghan people and ensures that Afghan soil is not used against any country for terrorism. This is our common goal and that of the international community. The wise way for the international community to achieve this goal is to help the Taliban through communication and support.”
