LAHORE:Capital City Police Officer Additional IG Fayyaz Ahmad Dev, on Friday visited Jinnah Hospital, to ask after the health of injured police personnel Constable Azmat Ali who got injured by firing of targeted offenders during a surprise raid by Sundar police.
He also inquired after the health of Head constable Abbas Ali who got serious head and other injuries when an underage boy driving his car speedily and caressely hit the motorbike of HC Abbas with his car. SP Model Town Sayed Aziz, SP Investigation Hamza Amanullah, DSP Garden Town circle and other related police officers accompanied the CCPO Lahore. Commander Lahore Police Fayyaz Ahmad Dev presented flowers bouquets,financial grant cheques to the under treatment police officials and prayed for the early health recovery. The under treatment police personnel informed the CCPO Lahore Fayyaz Ahmad Dev about all the details of the incidents occurred with them. Additional IG Fayyaz Ahmad Dev lauded the services of brave policemen and said at present the morale of Lahore police is very high as they serve the country with great zeal and passion and remain steadfast in very difficult situation for the safety of public. He declared such acts of chivalry and courage an excellent example to be followed by other police officers and officials. CCPO Lahore also talked with the heirs of injured personnel and highly acknowledged the services of these policemen for the citizens to safeguard their life and property and maintain law and order in the city. Fayyaz Ahmad Dev said, mission of Lahore Police is to protect the lives and property of citizens and maintain law and order. Police officers and officials will never spare any stone unturned and always sacrifice their precious lives in fulfilling this sacred mission. The officers and officials who were injured during crime control and in the line of duty were the real heroes of Lahore Police, Fayyaz Ahmad Dev concluded.
