Lahore:SSP Administration Atif Nazir has said that under the supervision of Capital City Police Officer( CCPO) Lahore Fayyaz Ahmad Dev, different units of Lahore police along with police stations have been provided with state of the art infrastructure, buildings and other facilities so as to facilitate police personnel as well as citizens. Atif Nazir said this while making inspection of the under construction ‘Close Protection Unit Lines and Training School Township’ today. SP Anti Riot Force Muhammad Imran, DSP Development Mustafa Hassan, other related senior officers accompanied him. SSP Admn inspected different blocks of the training school, reviewed the pace of construction and directed the contractors and concerned officers to increase the speed and meet the given timeline for completion of all construction and development works. Atif Nazir said the sole purpose of raising basic infrastructure for the field offices is to provide maximum facilities of smart policing ,management and training under one roof. He stressed upon to expedite the on going work, maintain the quality of construction material as no compromise would be made on standard of work and strict action would be taken against any violation of SOPs in this regard. Lodging facilities would also be provided to the trainees and would be imparted latest training and refresher courses to the personnel of Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit and Anti Riot Force for their capacity building and improve their performance. SSP Atif Nazir was informed that the training school comprises of total 22 kanal area with modern and state of the art multi purpose infrastructure of Admn and Technical Blocks, barracks with the capacity of 500 personnel, offices for senior officers and staff, conference rooms and other basic facilities as well. The four storeys Admn block of the training school with lift facility would be completed till June this year. SSP Admn was further informed that work on boundary walls, Observation posts, over head water tank with the capacity of seven thousands gallons of water and tube well have already been completed. SSP Admn Atif Nazir directed the concerned to utilize all the available funds for development and construction projects and complete them on fast track.
