EPI Balochistan delegation met DC Gwadar Jameel Baloch

The Provincial Coordinator EPI Balochistan Dr Akthar Ali Buledi along-with his provincial team EVM Consultant EPI COVIM Akhtar Ali Khoso and Provincial Communication for Development Consultant Mr Abdul Salam Baloch met with the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Jameel Ahmed Baloch.

According to the details, the delegation of Provincial EPI discussed the Routine Immunization and COVID 19 vaccination issues specially Coverage and Effective vaccine management.

The partner United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) supported staff shared that with support of GAVI and UNICEF provincial EPI is strengthening the vaccine storage and management at District and divisional level, and for the purpose UNICEF has provided a 10 CBU cold room and Generator for the EPI Gwadar.

To strengthening the COVID 19 vaccination 3 Female vaccinator also appointed through third party by UNICEF for female vaccination in HFs of Gwadar. In the meeting District Health Officer (DHO) Gwadar Dr Muhammad Mosa and Dr Rahim Buledi DHO Kech were also participated in the meeting.
