On Wednesday, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met European Union High Commissioner to Pakistan Androulla Kaminara at the General Head Quarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.

The meeting featured important discussions regarding matters of mutual interest, the current framework of regional security, and key issues highlighting the present situation of peace in Afghanistan as stated by the military’s media wing.
“Pakistan values its ties with the EU countries, and it hopes to improve mutually beneficial multi-domain relations founded on common grounds,” said Bajwa.

The military wing also said that the EU Ambassador praised Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan’s situation regarding conducting successful evacuation operations enhancing regional peace.
Androulla Kaminara assured to pledge full support for further improvements in diplomatic alliance with Pakistan at all times, the military’s wing remarked.
