Inexperienced bank staff put importers to face hazardous

LAHORE: The Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) has called on the Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to pay attention towards the difficulties being faced by importers after the introduction of Pakistan Single Window (PSW) system due to inexperienced bank staff.

President of Pakistan Business Forum (Lahore Chapter) Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer and Vice President Dr. Faryad Ahmed in a joint statement here on Friday said that PSW has been introduced for the convenience of businessmen but due to inexperienced staff of Commercial Bank, the business community is facing considerable difficulties in obtaining FI forms. Due to delay in this process, port charges are increasing and on the other hand, the staff of Commercial Bank is not cooperating too.

They requested the Governor State Bank of Pakistan to issue immediate orders for resolving this issue so that the business community could continue its business activities with satisfaction.
