Lahore: Global chemical industry with huge outlay of $5.7 trillion is 3rd largest and 4th fastest growing sector. In post Covid era, chemicals being integral to modern human life, are customizing its offerings in new environment, business styles, culture and the work ethics.
It was observed at a meeting of the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) office bearers held in Chair with Mr. Jahangir Piracha, Chairman PCMA. Mr. Haroon Ali Khan, Senior Vice Chairman, Mr. Zafar Mahmood, Senior Executive Member and Mr. Iqbal Kidwai, Secretary General were also present on this occasion.
Mr. Jahangir Piracha said that Pakistan Chemical industry with proximity to regional out-performing players is well poised to contribute in global chemical business and take its respectable share from the value chain. The two day’s mega forum & expo, PakChem 2022 being organized by PCMA in mid of this year is geared to achieve the objective of networking with global players, learn & share best innovative practices and participate in corporate culture for a win-win arrangement. With the deployment of 200 plus stalls in Expo and capturing the knowledge inflow delivered by expert speakers in the Forum, PakChem 2022 shall accomplish the desired outcome of this largest and palatable event in Asia, he said.
It is notable that Pakistan’s largest Chemical Expo & Conference-2022 will be held on June 1st and 2nd this year at Expo Center, Lahore under aegis of PCMA.
Both local & international exhibitors will get an opportunity to showcase their products in the Expo, while subject matter experts will present their papers strengthening objectives of the event in the conference to be held parallel with the Expo.
The manufacturers, importers, exporters, service providers, machine suppliers, banking sector, Insurance Companies, Shipping Lines, logistic companies and Academia experts relating to chemical industry will participate this event along with member companies of the PCMA.
The entrepreneurs of international chemical industry from China, Gulf, Europe and other regions are being invited to take part both in Expo and the Conference.
Government authorities and policy makers are also being invited to attend various sessions of the conference and expo as guests of honor. Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, Mr. Hammad Azhar, Mr. Asad Umar and Mia Aslam Iqbal are expected to chair sessions of the two-day conference.
Mr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan would be invited as Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony of the Chemical Expo and Conference.
