Toronto-bound PIA flight Returns to Karachi after passenger falls ill
Mar 8, 2022: PIA flight from Karachi to Toronto forced to turn back after passenger falls ill.
PIA Flight PK 783 from Karachi to Toronto scheduled to take off on Tuesday morning has been forced to turn back after a passenger on board the flight fell ill.
The pilot decided to bring the flight back to Karachi due to ill health of a passenger. According to sources, the passenger who fell ill has been named as Syed Wasi, aged 32 who was a Canadian national. He was assigned seat number 44E.
Arrangements have been made to provide medical aid at Karachi Airport.
The flight is scheduled to land back at Karachi at 12:40pm local time.
The passenger has since been shifted to hospital for treatment and is now stable, according to a PIA spokesperson citing updates from family members.
