The Supreme Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial is getting highest paid salary in Pakistan.
In the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee, it was stated that the salary of the Chief Justice is higher than the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister and Federal Ministers.
During the meeting chaired by Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan, the gross salary details of the President, Prime Minister and judges were presented.
Noor Alam Khan told the meeting that the salary of the Chief Justice of Pakistan is Rs152,7399 and the salary of the judge of the Supreme Court is Rs147,0711.
He said that the salary of the President is Rs896,550 rupees, the salary of the Prime Minister is Rs201574.
Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan further said that the salary of the federal minister is Rs338,125 and the salary of the member of the National Assembly is Rs188,000. He also said that the salary of a federal officer of grade 22 is Rs591,471.
