In recent years, election campaigns across the world have become heavily reliant on technology, data mining, social media, and even online polls with a focus on “narrative building”. Although Pakistan is also moving in that direction, over the years there has been a prelevance of a “central leadership narrative” which remains critical to the process, especially as an “on-ground factor” in Pakistan.

Addressing the participants, CEO Synergy Group Ahmed Kapadia, said: “It is indeed an industry first from a PR & Communications industry’s perspective in Pakistan, whereby we managed to get a diversified outlook on political branding in one room and have a political debate with a marketing perspective”.

Kapadia added that this is the first of many events, with an aim to host similar sessions at regular intervals throughout the year.
