Asfandyar Wali Khan, head of the Awami National Party, responded to the first budget presented by the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, saying that the Awami National Party rejects the federal budget. This budget is fully developed by IMF.
Asfand Yar Wali said that this budget has been focused on raising tax. The recent budget document is IMF’s dictation, which does not include any concrete plan to save education, health and foreign debt. As long as the budget remains on the overseas signals, the ordinary man cannot get any relief.
He said that the poorest people have been targeted again in the recent budget. The fact is that all the items of food, sugar, oil, gas, and other items are out of public’s range.
