No World Pressure Can ‘Compromise Islam’: Hibatullah Akhundzada

In audio attributed to Islamic Emirate leader Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada speaking at the Eid al-Adha prayer in Kandahar, he said there is no obstacle standing in the way of implementing “Sharia orders,” and they are not under the pressure of any power to “compromise on Islam.”

He also referred to the Islamic Emirate government, saying that the “Muslims of the whole world” are happy that the current government came to power.

“We are so independent today that there are no obstacles on the path to implement the real orders of Islam. We are not under pressure from any world power to compromise Islam or not ensure real Islam,” he said.

Speaking at a gathering in the Arg, acting Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir said that the Islamic Emirate has made “significant” progress in the economic, political and security fields.

“You see that Afghanistan has kept its engagement with its neighbors, regional and world countries. We have envoys in almost 16 countries and some embassies have been officially handed over to us,” he said.

Meanwhile, the 1st Deputy PM Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar told a gathering during the prayer for Eid al-Adha at the Arg that the world makes “propaganda” about economic challenges in Afghanistan and encourages the people to leave the country.

He said that the Islamic Emirate is trying to solve economic hardship in the country.

“It is an attempt of the world to persuade Afghans, they say repeatedly that there is no work opportunity and there is poverty in Afghanistan. On one hand, the almighty Allah brought drought that the human’s cannot tackle and no one can,” he said.

The Islamic Emirate leader said that the process of customization of institutions based on Sharia laws is ongoing and that the ministries are obliged to turn all of the laws into Sharia orders.
