A tragic incident took place in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, in which, Alamgir Tareen, the brother of Jahangir Tareen, the head of the newly formed political party, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), has committed suicide.
According to media reports, Alamgir Tareen shot himself in the head. He was at his home in Lahore. The police reached the spot and launched further investigation into the matter.
Tarin was a well-known businessman and the owner and managing director of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Multan Sultans
